Employment in Britain

Human resources deals with employment practices in an organization, there are several issues that the human resources have to consider such as recruitment, selection and promotions, Pay and promotion, appraisal and training, health and safety, harassment, victimization, Age equality policy and retirement. The employer must consider the qualifications of the applicant and that there is no discrimination based on age or ethnicity. The employee needs to know the pension plan and payment offered is consistent with other employees.

The British Middle Class

The gab difference in wealth between middle class and working class is a huge £100000, an increase of 44% since 1966. Over fifty percent consider themselves as working class, but this will change in 2020 when middle class percentage will take over. The study found that the emergence of new classification of classes is interesting. The Muddle class, Rich Ordinary Briton, High Earning Workers and Suburban Asset Lightweight. What is really interesting about this study that three out of ten bank managers consider themselves as working class and 36% of builders classified themselves as middle class.
